Slimetime turns a photo you choose into a slime video. This page explains what the app collects, why, and who it is shared with. It applies to the Slimetime iOS app and this website.
Using Slimetime without an account
You do not need an account to make videos or to browse the For You feed. Signing in is only required to publish a video to the feed or to like someone else's. Sign in with Apple is the only sign-in method offered.
What we collect
- Photos you choose. When you create a video, the photo you pick is uploaded so it can be rendered into a slime video. We do not scan your photo library — the app only receives the specific image you select.
- Videos you generate. Finished videos are saved to your device. A copy passes through our backend to deliver it to you.
- Account details, if you sign in. Sign in with Apple gives us an identifier, and your name and email address. If you use Apple's Hide My Email, we only ever see the relay address, never your real one.
- Activity on the feed. Videos you publish, likes you give, and view counts.
- Notification token, if you turn on push notifications.
- Purchases. We receive confirmation of what you bought and your credit balance. Payment is handled entirely by Apple — we never see your card or billing details.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not show third-party advertising.
- We do not track you across other apps or websites.
Who processes your data
Slimetime relies on a small number of providers to run the service. They process data only to provide their part of it:
- Apple — sign-in and in-app purchases.
- Clerk — account authentication.
- Convex — application backend and file storage.
- Modal — the GPU service that renders your video.
- OpenRouter — generates the text prompt that guides rendering.
- RevenueCat — records purchases and credit entitlements.
- Cloudflare — serves this website.
How long we keep it
Videos you keep private stay on your device; deleting them in the app removes them. Videos you publish to the feed remain until you delete them or your account. Account records are kept while your account exists.
Deleting your account and data
You can ask us to delete your account and the data associated with it at any time by emailing bryce@brycedev.com. Deleting the app removes the videos stored on your device.
Children
Slimetime is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, email us and we will remove it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, or to object to how it is used. Email us at the address below and we will help.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page.
